A new brochure and CD-ROM combination from Toshiba aims to speed the selection and design-in of CISC microcontrollers in LCD appliances, motor control systems, handheld information equipment, industrial control systems and general-purpose applications.

Toshiba's new application-focused 'Designs and more' brochure combines key details of 4, 8, 16 and 32bit CISC microcontrollers with application examples and information on starter kits and other hardware and software development tools.

The accompanying CD-ROM provides more detailed technical data on Toshiba's complete CISC microcontroller family as well as a selector guide for rapid identification of the most appropriate products and tools.

Toshiba has developed the new brochure and CD-ROM as part of its ongoing 'Designs and more' programme.

Originally launched in 1998, the latest phase of this programme focuses on providing European distributors and their customers with devices, tools and support services that significantly simplify the development and implementation of popular embedded applications.
