Toshiba Electronics Europe has promoted Thomas Kuschel to the position of Senior Manager for the company's Microcomputer, Automotive and Consumer IC Marketing Department.

Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) has promoted Thomas Kuschel to the position of Senior Manager for the company's Microcomputer, Automotive and Consumer IC (MAC IC) Marketing Department.

Kuschel takes over from Peter Lieberwirth, who becomes TEE's General Manager for the company's Automotive Segment.

In his new role Kuschel will head up the team responsible for the marketing and support of Toshiba's microcontrollers and microprocessors and dedicated semiconductor products ranging from motor drivers to system on chip (SoC) digital television ICs.

Kuschel joined Toshiba Electronics Europe (TEE) as Microcontroller Product Marketing Engineer in 1995.

Prior to the new role, he was a manager within the TEE MAC IC team.
