MCU, MPU and analogue IC technology on
show
Flash micros, speech interface, motor control solutions and next-generation display controllers on show for first time at Embedded World.
Visitors to this year's Embedded World Exhibition and Conference in Nuremberg will be able to see Toshiba Electronics Europe's latest microcontroller, microprocessors and analogue IC technologies Technologies on show will include the latest generation of single-chip processors for advanced automotive TFT display applications such as new instrument clusters, and dedicated automotive motor control solutions with integrated LIN connectivity

Multimedia SoCs examined at Embedded World
At Embedded World 2003 Toshiba will be hosting a forum targeted at visitors looking to dramatically reduce the silicon and development time overheads associated with SoC multimedia applications.
Toshiba will also be exhibiting microcontroller-based speech interface IP solutions designed to simplify the implementation of applications requiring improved human machine interfaces with voice recording and playback.
In addition, Toshiba will present a new family of 8 and 16bit high-density Flash microcontrollers based on Silicon Storage Technologies' (SST) SuperFlash memory.
Among the microcontrollers on display will be many 8bit MCUs dedicated to LCD-based applications.
Easy development will be demonstrated with a large range of starter kits and a new low cost development system.
The latest versions of highly integrated devices for motor control in home appliances or industrial applications will also be on show for the first time.
The solutions include dedicated low-cost microcontrollers as well as mixed-signal ASSPs with integrated predrivers.
