Trident displays expertise in Nordic
sales

The business model was similar to that of Trident Displays in the UK.
Its cornerstone was the integration of key components around a display to meet customer requirements, whilst in parallel keeping a close eye on customer's product costing.
Trident's performance in 2006 was described as exceptional; for a new company to develop so many significant customer projects in one year reflected the high level expertise within the company.
In accepting the award, Trident commented on the growing number of new TFT displays becoming available from Toshiba: "These new panels have allowed Trident to address many new and current customers".
"The Nordic region for TFT is the fastest growing market in the area of smaller panels; we are able to address this market with new innovative panels from 2.2 to 12.1in from Toshiba".
Mats Sjobrand added: "The Toshiba range compliments other products within the Trident portfolio such as touch screen, customised cables, driver cards, power supplies and SBCs".
"Customers benefit from significant expertise Trident has within its Nordic sales team".
In presenting the award, Ian Wilson of Toshiba, congratulated Trident and commented: "2007 will also be an exciting year as the product range continues to expand with many new panel sizes along with the introduction of LED backlit devices, integrated touch screen options along with antireflective and sunlight-readable coatings".
