Microcontroller meets needs of modern appliances
Toshiba Electronics Europe has launched a flash microcontroller specifically designed to meet the needs of modern home appliance applications including washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers.
Pushbuttons allow the user to illuminate all of the LEDs for each individual colour, which include green, yellow, orange, red, blue, blue/green and white.
To further aid the engineer, the new kit also incorporates a CD that provides technical details of the LEDs on the demonstration board, a copy of Toshiba's latest LED product guide and a presentation on the company's LED technologies including roadmap information.
The CD also contains a selection of datasheets and a matrix detailing Toshiba driver ICs that are compatible with the new LEDs.
Toshiba's SMD LED Demo Kit is available from all of the company's authorised distributors.
