A new series of interface convertors connects RS422/485 devices to standard PC interfaces, like RS232, USB and Ethernet.

These devices connect standard industry-proven networks to PC-based control and automation systems in a simple way.

All modules are designed for reliable operation in industrial environments and consequently provide easy installation and diagnosis.

Model TRP-C06 allows standard RS232 port to communicate with individual RS422 device or with multiple devices within RS485 network.

Models TRP-C08 and TRP-C36 provide USB and Ethernet access to RS422/485 networks.

In RS422 and RS485 auto modes, the devices work seamlessly with the standard operating system serial driver (COM/USB).

Ethernet connectivity is encapsuled through a standard COM port driver, which is provided for Windows, Unix and Mac systems.

This ensures simple attachment without modification of existing PC software.

All devices support RS422 full duplex mode as well as RS485 full or half duplex master and slave modes.

Onboard LEDs indicate that device is properly powered and when device is transmitting and receiving.

In addition, the modules provide optical isolation and surge protection to prevent damage from ground loop effects on the RS422/485 lines.

Removable screw terminal blocks for quick installation connect to external devices.
