Programmable electronic loads join the net
Transistor Devices' Dynaload Division has added Ethernet communication capabilities to its popular line of programmable electronic loads.
Today's test engineers continue to demand more communication options to facilitate the transfer of test data and to implement computer driven control and monitoring of test equipment.
It is no longer acceptable to simply offer a standard IEEE488 bus or RS232 interface.
You must be able to communicate over a LAN or the Internet using a standard web browser.
Additionally, test equipment must feature ease of integration and configuration versatility, without custom software.
These features are best achieved via Ethernet, and so now Transistor Devices' Dynaload Division has added Ethernet communication capabilities to its popular line of programmable electronic loads.
There are three series of loads being expanded with Ethernet communication features.
The RBL series is the workhorse load for both benchtop and ATE applications.
It is available from 400 to 4000W with a voltage rating up to 1000V DC.
The MCL, or multichannel load, is the only ten-channel load on the market.
The WCL, or water-cooled load, is the industry's most versatile load for high power applications.
All three series are now available with Ethernet communications.
With the added capabilities of Ethernet, the Dynaload user can now: view on-going testing from locations all over the world via the Internet; easily integrate the Dynaload into an Ethernet-controlled test station; and be provided with remote service and applications assistance.
Three communication buses now available within the Dynaload product line: IEEE488, RS232 and Ethernet.
