The IP Relay is a unit which allows any serial device to be run independently as a device with its own IP address and shared over a network.
The IP Relay is a unit which allows any serial device to be run independently as a device with its own IP address and shared over a network - a task which traditionally would have been used in conjunction with a PC with a dedicated IP address and responsible for running the device The IP Relay has functions that allow it to be used in many different applications: input/output serial data to an Ethernet connection; remote switching of DC relay (maximum 50V/1A); user adjustable LEDs to allow users to monitor status; and passive mode, allowing Ethernet port/IP address to be used as a serial port
