Laser marking is a Trumpf technology that has become a significant contributor to the Group's continuing success Over one thousand VectorMark diode-pumped laser units are now in operation world-wide and the range has been significantly expanded in recent years to allow its proven benefits to be applied to a much wider spectrum of applications
Now an independent subsidiary, Trumpf Laser Marking Systems AG launched two new models to the range at the LASER 2001 trade fair in early summer.
The introduction of these double- and triple-frequency models to the UK is one of the first tasks that Nick White will undertake as the newly appointed Laser Marking Systems Product Manager for Trumpf, based at Luton.
End users, systems integrators and distributors will benefit from Nick's wide knowledge of this technology, having spent the last 14 years in the laser business, 7 of them within the laser marking sector.
