The EMO trade fair in Hanover and the Schweissen and Schneiden (Welding and Cutting) fair in Essen witnessed another milestone in Trumpf CO2 laser technology.

The EMO trade fair in Hanover and the Schweissen and Schneiden (Welding and Cutting) fair in Essen witnessed another milestone in Trumpf CO2 laser technology The new laser series follows the introduction of numerous technological innovations to its globally successful TLF CO2 lasers

The introduction of the new series of Trumpf TLF lasers features a power increase in the lower power regime up to 2000, 2700 and 3200W.

Combining higher power with the well known high beam quality of the TLF lasers the process efficiency could be increased further.

This also allows increase of productivity to the same degree.

A record-breaker is the new 5kW cutting laser: with exceptional high beam quality that is quite unique in this performance category, it suits perfectly for cutting and demanding welding applications, e.g remote welding.

This sensational laser light source is now extending the Trumpf cutting laser range and shifts the boundaries of sheet metal working - speed as well as maximum workable sheet thicknesses - further away.

According to the technological innovations the new lasers also come in a modified outfit: The dynamic design reflects the potential and capabilities of the new TLF lasers.

The TLF lasers are equipped with wear-free and maintenance-free magnetic-bearing turboblowers and are now entirely free of oil and grease.

Fast flow gas lasers again set the standards for reliability and long-term performance.

Featuring a new laser control the TLF lasers are well prepared for fast communication with high-speed laser cutting machines such as the Trumatic HSL 2502 C and the new Trumatic L 3050.

The new laser series is based on the same reliable and successful concept of the world-wide already more than 6000 installed Trumpf TLF CO2 lasers: RF excitation introduced by Trumpf and used since the very first Trumpf laser as well as the extraordinary sturdy construction of the resonator.
