Laser system sales buck recession trends
Bucking current trends, sales of Trumpf lasers are up, especially in the medical technology and electronics markets.

However, there is some compensation as product sales to China, South Korea and Japan are up and there are signs of some improvement in the US market.
In the UK, Trumpf's forecast for 2002 is the same as for 2001.
