The new TrumaBend E Series press brakes from Trumpf enable the production of high precision, top quality, small and thin workpieces, using an electromechanically driven Y-axis.

The new TrumaBend E Series press brakes from Trumpf enable the production of high precision, top quality, small and thin workpieces.

The 'E' suffix signifies an electromechanically driven Y-axis.

AC servomotors not only ensure high dynamics but also in combination with a linear encoder, extraordinarily high repeatability in the order of +/-0.002mm.

This high positioning accuracy is independent of fluctuations in oil temperature and viscosity as no hydraulics are involved.

Two models complete the range, the TrumaBend E18 with press force of 180kN and E35 with 350kN.

Bending lengths of the machines are 400mm and 1250mm respectively.

Thanks to their compact, ergonomic design, they can be easily accommodated within a production cell or line.

The working height enables operation from a seated position.

The stable FEM-calculated machine frame guarantees the high throat capacity, a large amount of free bending space and tool adaptor accessibility.
