New from Toshiba's Storage Device Division is the SD-R6012 slim combination drive, the industry's first combination DVD/CD recordable drive for mobile computers.
When examining the market for mobile consumer electronics hard drives, Toshiba secured a staggering 53% market share.
This includes all 2.5, 1.8, 1 and 0.85in drives.
Toshiba is also the world's leading supplier of automotive-class HDDs with more than 80% market share according to TSR.
These drives offer a rugged and dependable option for cars and SUVs as they travel through extreme temperatures and terrains due to the drives enhanced operating temperatures and shock resistance.
