Passive integration saves on assembly costs
Integrating passive components into a resistor and capacitor chip network can provide significant savings on component placement.
The five circuit types available include four different bused configurations of resistor/capacitor pairs and one isolated configuration with five individual resistor/capacitor pairs.
Custom versions can also be supplied within the constraints of the space available.
Standard resistances range from 10ohm to 1Mohm, with standard tolerances of +/-20% (+/-5 and +/-10% optional) and a temperature coefficient of resistance of +/-200ppm/C.
The capacitors are of X7R dielectric and range from 10 to 220pF, depending on the circuit configuration.
The tolerance on all capacitors is +/-20% at 1MHz and 25C.
Power rating is 63mW per resistor and 250mW per package.
Additional features of the RC6 chip are its small outline and low profile which make it particularly suitable for PCMCIA applications.
Terminations are tin plated with a nickel barrier to prevent solder leaching.
The product is also RoHS compliant.
The RC6 chips are manufactured by TT Electronics BI Technologies at its ISO9001/TS16949-approved plant in Glenrothes, Scotland.
