The capacitors are optimised for DC/DC power conversion and noise filtering applications such as high-end portable systems, handheld electronic products and hearing aids.
TTI is offering the Vishay 292D capacitors in a range of capacitance values from 3.3F to 33mF, embracing voltage ratings from 4 to 10V DC.
Tolerances on the parts are +/-10 or +/-20% as standard, and operating temperature range is -55 to +85C.
Alternatively, devices can be operated up to 125C with a voltage derating.
Two case sizes are available; an R-type case measures just 1.2 x 2 x 1.3mm, and a P-style case which sizes up at 1.35 x 2 x 1.35mm.
A tantalum wire nib identifies the anode terminal.
The surface-mount capacitors are compatible with most commonly used printed circuit board materials and can be attached using conventional soldering techniques vapour phase, infra-red reflow, wave soldering and hot plate methods.
The parts will withstand exposure to +245C for 5s.
