Universal applications environment for
GSM/GPRS

"End users will be able to customise their handsets by downloading the best content, including our WGE games, produced by a worldwide community of developers - and those developers will only need to write an application once to capture sales in a worldwide market".

The integration by TTPCom and Qualcomm of the BREW platform into a WGE-enabled GPRS handset gives end users access to quality games via over the air downloads.
The BREW platform for wireless is giving consumers around the world the ability to personalise their wireless handsets by downloading, over the air, the applications they want and need, virtually anytime, anywhere.
These applications include personal productivity tools, m-services, position location, mapping, sports, entertainment and gaming.
