Flexible configuration for compact 400W front end
The TCP1U-400 is a compact front-end power module that delivers up to 400W in a versatile platform.
The TCP1U-400 is a compact front-end power module that delivers up to 400W in a versatile platform.
The TCP1U-400 is designed to deliver reliable bulk power to distributed power architectures used in telecomms systems, networking equipment and industrial instrumentation.
Measuring only 39 x 84 x 276mm, a flexible mechanical format allows the TCP1U to be housed horizontally in a 1U profile shelf, or vertically in a 2U shelf, delivering up to 2kW per 1U of rack space.
The TCP1U is available in several standard configurations providing 12, 24 or 48V nominal outputs from 90 to 264V AC input.
"The TCP1U-400 is truly a customer-driven product", said Richard Gelb, President, Tectrol.
"We developed this platform in response to our customers' demands for greater control over their power increments".
"The TCP1U provides excellent power density in a format that enables a modular power implementation", added Gelb.
The TCP1U offers a wide range of high-end features and flexible platform options including: enhanced I2C capabilities that allow interrogation of manufacturing data and provide power module monitoring and alarm reporting; true hot swap functionality through the use of an industry-standard blind mate connector; and auxiliary 5V output, current share and comprehensive status indicators.
Like all Tectrol power platforms, the TCP1U can be modified or configured to supply a different power level, cooling option, physical form factor, output connection scheme or meet other application-specific requirements.
