The TCP1U-800 is a compact front-end power module that delivers 840W at 12V (70A) in a 1U profile.

The TCP1U-800 is a compact front-end power module that delivers 840W at 12V (70A) in a 1U profile The TCP1U-800 is designed to deliver reliable, high current bulk power to distributed power architectures used in telecomms systems, servers, data storage and industrial applications

The TCP1U-800 is the newest member of Tectrol's 1U family of front-end power supplies that includes platforms delivering high efficiency power at 350, 400, 840, 1200 or 1500W per module.

"The release of the TCP1U-800 is another example of our commitment to delivering total power solutions", said Richard Gelb, President, Tectrol.

"We are now in a position to offer our customers a wide choice of low profile front-end power modules that support a broad range of voltages and power output options", added Gelb.

The TCP1U-800 offers many high-end features built into the standard platform including: enhanced I2C capabilities that allow interrogation of manufacturing data and provide power module monitoring and alarm reporting; true hot swap functionality through the use of an industry-standard blind mate connector; and a well regulated 12V high current output that is ideal for front-end power supply deployment with isolated or nonisolated point of use converters in a distributed power architecture.

The TCP1U-800 can be deployed as a stand-alone power module or as part of the Tectrol TCPR-1U power system.

The TCPR-1U supports up to three TCP1U-800 modules in a 19in 1U shelf allowing N+1 redundancy or scalability up to 2520W with nonredundant parallel operation.
