Faster development for time-triggered systems

A TTE Systems product story
Edited by the Electronicstalk editorial team Apr 7, 2008

RapidiTTy Builder will allow even inexperienced developers to create reliable embedded systems for microcontrollers with an ARM7 or Cortex core.

TTE Systems is a spin-out company from the University of Leicester that develops and sells the RapidiTTy family of software development tools.

Based on time-triggered (TT) technology, RapidiTTy tools simplify, automate and accelerate the development of embedded systems which are both reliable and resource efficient.

The company also provides a related suite of custom design, consultancy and training services based on TT technology.

TTE Systems is a relative newcomer (the company launched its first product at the Embedded Systems show in October 2007), but it has already attracted a large number of customers from both Europe and the USA.

As a result of strong sales to date, the company is taking on a further seven developers, starting in Q2/Q3 2008.

Q2 also sees the launch of a new product: RapidiTTy Builder includes a "component engine" that the company claims will allow even inexperienced developers to create reliable embedded systems for microcontrollers with an ARM7 or Cortex core.

Dr Michael Pont, Chief Executive, notes: "Following the successful launch of RapidiTTy FPGA in January, we have done extensive prelaunch trials with RapidiTTy Builder: feedback has been extremely positive, and I am looking forward to seeing the wider reaction from developers when this important new product is released".
