EMC testing and certification services come to Boxborough, Massachusetts.

TUV Rheinland now offers EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) testing and certification services at its Boxborough, Massachusetts location A recently signed agreement gives TUV Rheinland total access to an EMC testing laboratory and associated equipment operated by The Compliance Management Group (CMG) in Marlborough, Massachusetts

As part of the agreement, a TUV Rheinland EMC Engineer will have full use of CMG's facility.

The engineer will test TUV Rheinland clients' products, including information technology, medical, laboratory, audio/video, and telecommunications, to assure product compliance with various global requirements, including the Federal Communications Commission and the European EMC Directive 89/336/EEC.

In all cases, a TUV Rheinland report will be issued.

"This facility usage agreement truly is a win/win for both parties involved", says Rick Patterson, TUV Rheinland's Northeast Regional Manager at Boxborough, Massachusetts.

"It will help TUV Rheinland minimise investment costs while providing an opportunity to expand our EMC services in the Northeast, and The Compliance Management Group will receive an opportunity to market other services to TUV Rheinland's client base while realising increased revenue in EMC".

"We at CMG are very excited about this mutually beneficial agreement and see an opportunity to promote our 'service-without-conditions' mission to a new set of customers", says Richard Dunne, Chief Operating Officer of The Compliance Management Group.

With EMC customers throughout the region, TUV Rheinland has identified a growing need for additional EMC testing locations in the northern half of New England.

Regionally, TUV Rheinland offers a full service EMC facility at the Newtown, Connecticut headquarters.

Currently, the company operates a total of 15 EMC testing laboratories and two mobile lab units throughout the USA.
