TUK's convenient new cable economiser provides an instant method for adding an additional terminal to an existing network without the need for additional cabling.

TUK's convenient new cable economiser provides an instant method for adding an additional terminal to an existing network without the need for additional cabling The device is ideal in emergency situations where sufficient network outlets are not available, or when the cost or disruption caused by installing additional cabling is prohibitive

Many services connected via Category 5e or 6 cable only require two of the four pairs the cable provides; two pairs may therefore be unused.

The cable economiser transposes the used pairs, taking advantage of the unused pairs.

Each cable economiser features two ports that enable the connection of two different devices (such as PC, telephone or fax) to one four-pair cable.

Both devices are then continuously available.

Easily mounted onto a desk or wall, cable economisers are supplied in pairs, with one connected to a wall outlet and the other to a patch panel using flying leads.

The device is available in three formats: data/data, data/voice and voice/voice.
