Tundra Semiconductor has unveiled comprehensive new product lines to advance its Tundra System Interconnect strategy.
The revenue for Q1 2004 was $11.2 million.
"This increase in revenue growth is a pleasant surprise", said Jim Roche, President and CEO of Tundra.
"It is caused by stronger than expected sales in October of the Tsi106 and Tsi107, products that Tundra purchased at the end of September.
Although we still believe that the current run rate for these products is between $4.5 and $5.0 million per quarter, revenues in any quarter can fluctuate monthly due to customer requirements.
October was a higher than average month for this product line".
"During Q2 we anticipate our pro forma earnings per share to be between $0.11 and $0.13, up from the projected $0.09 to $0.10 per share announced in September", said Norm Paquette, Chief Financial Officer of Tundra.
"Our gross margins remain strong and are in line with the earlier guidance".
Tundra's second quarter for fiscal year 2004 ended on 2nd November 2003.
Detailed financial results will be announced on 3rd December 2003.
