Manufacturer given certification

It also offers three, four, and five-axis machining capabilities up to 30 feet, precision weldments, structures, tooling - jigs and fixtures, CMM and laser tracker metrology services, and a fleet of fully stocked service trucks staffed with certified technicians.

"In our pre-audit interview with TUV America we set an aggressive goal to become ISO9001:2000 and AS9100-certified with absolutely no minor or major nonconformances", said Todd Gallagher, Vice President, Apex Design Technology.
"We not only adhered to our motto - 'Can do, will do', proclaiming our continual commitment to our customers, employees, the community and the environment, but with the expertise of TUV and its seasoned auditing team, we were able to identify how we can enhance welding procedure data processes", concluded Gallagher.
Apex' Anaheim, California facility became certified to ISO9001:2000 and AS9100 in August of 2005.
It also has a facility in Decatur, Alabama slated for registration in the first quarter of 2006.
The Anaheim facility includes more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, including a large machine shop, weld shop, tooling shop, an electrical assembly and test clean room, and a hydraulics assembly and test area as well as a certified paint booth.
