Digital media processors based on DaVinci technology are based on the high performance TMS320C64x+ generation of DSPs and include host processors and video and audio peripherals that match consumer entertainment equipment specifications.
Widevine Cypher is a downloadable conditional access and digital rights management solution that protects linear broadcast and VOD content that prevents piracy on set-top boxes, personal video recorders, home media gateways, and other consumer electronic devices within the home.
When coupled, operators have access to a solution that provides unmatched content processing capabilities as well as the protection they need to acquire, license and securely distribute premium content to consumers-where and when they want it.
DaVinci technology-based digital media processors secured by Widevine are available today as part of DaVinci technology's software development kit platform.
