Automotive-qualified DC/DC power management IC switches autonomously between buck and boost modes to provide a constant regulated output voltage of 5V.
Texas Instruments has developed an automotive-qualified DC/DC power management IC that switches autonomously between buck and boost modes to provide a constant regulated output voltage of 5V The TPIC74100-Q1 operates over a wide input voltage range of 1.5 to 40V and simplifies design by eliminating the need for external components
The device also minimises electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the system by implementing a clock modulator and adjustable slew rate.
The TPIC74100-Q1 voltage regulators are available today in volume from TI and its authorised distributors in 20-pin HTSSOP PowerPAD packages.
Suggested resale pricing in quantities of 1000 units is US $1.70.
