A new family of coax connectors, specifically designed to meet the price-performance requirements of commercial RF applications has been announced by Tyco Electronics.
AMP connectors are compatible with SCSI-2, EIA RS232, ISO/IEC 11569 and HIPPI and IPI-2 standards.
They feature a rugged die cast backshell with excellent EMI/RFI protection and easy-to-use squeeze release latches.
The connectors are also UL and CSA certified.
