Greenpar comes back with low-cost coax connectors
A new family of coax connectors, specifically designed to meet the price-performance requirements of commercial RF applications has been announced by Tyco Electronics.
The circuit breakers cannot be manually tripped and feature an extended pushbutton for visual trip indication.
Numerous mounting and termination options are catered for.
Specifications include a 1000A interrupt capacity in accordance with UL1077, resettable overload capacity of ten times rated current and a reset time of 60s.
Operating temperature is 0 to 60C.
W54 and W57 circuit breakers will continuously carry 100% of rated load.
The devices may trip between 101 and 134%, but are guaranteed to trip at 135% of rating within 1h at 25C.
For the W54, at 200% overload, trip time is 5 to 40s, and at 600% overload it is 0.4 to 2.2s.
Its typical resistance at 5A current rating at 25C is 50mohm, whereas for a device rated at 40A it is 6mohm.
Termination options are 6.35mm quick connects or size 8 to 32 screws.
For the W57, at 200% overload, trip time is 4 to 40s, and at 600% overload it is 0.3 to 1.8s.
Typical resistance at 4A current rating at 25C is 62mohm, whereas for a device rated at 20A it is 12mohm.
Termination is via 6.35mm quick connects. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics UK ...
