Designed to meet Ultra320 SCSI (SPI-4) specifications, the AMP brand LVD/SE switchable SCSI terminator features a significantly reduced size without compromising performance when compared with other terminator designs for similar applications.

The new terminator provides accurate bus termination for low voltage differential (LVD), single ended (SE) and multimode switchable (LVD/SE) SCSI bus systems.

The use of chip-on-board technology ensures higher reliability and about 40% reduction in size over existing equivalent function terminators for LVD/SE applications.

The terminator's printed circuit board layout guarantees controlled impedance for all signals and is engineered to IPC standards.

Ideal for demanding environments, the terminator is thermally tested under worse case loading to 50C ambient air temperature.

The terminator is attached directly to the ribbon cable via an integrated industry standard IDC connector.

In addition, the new terminators are completely backwards compatible with previous SCSI signals.
