Patient cables deliver durable lead wire interface
New three- and five-lead Ergoline patient cables deliver a user-friendly and durable lead wire interface for cardiology, emergency medical and general monitoring applications.
Slimmer, lighter and more comfortable than previous generations of fixed lead cables, the new three- and five-lead Ergoline patient cables deliver a user-friendly and durable lead wire interface for cardiology, emergency medical and general monitoring applications.
Available in both unidirectional and anatomical lead layouts, these cable assemblies can be terminated to a variety of patient and equipment connectors.
Ergoline cable assemblies are designed and manufactured by Tyco Electronics.
The new fixed lead additions to the family of Ergoline patient cables feature a low profile, lightweight yoke with a soft touch finish that is comfortable for the clinician and the patient as well as durable in the field.
For defibrillation protection, up to 1W resistors can be housed in the yoke.
For reliable signal transmission, both the trunk cable and lead wires are shielded, low noise constructions that minimise microphonic noise and interference.
Cable jacket options of polyurethane or TPR are both rugged and durable protection.
Flex reliefs at the connector and cable yoke provide added protection and help reduce conductor breakage.
For ease in cleaning, the smooth design eliminates bridges or hollows that can harbour microbes.
The three and five fixed lead versions of Ergoline patient cables are available with pinch, snap or the unique Uniclip (attaches to either snap or tab electrodes) patient connectors.
OEMs may select either AHA or IEC nomenclature with colour-coded connectors.
Custom labels are easily accommodated with customer provided artwork.
Ergoline patient cable assemblies meet all applicable performance requirements of the ANSI/AAMI EC-53 1995 standard for ECG cables and lead wires and are designed to meet EN60601-2-25 defibrillation withstand.
