Connectors harness power onboard
The low cost and RoHS compliant AMP 4.2mm Power Economy (PE) series connector system is designed for wire to wire and wire to board applications that require 4.2 x 4.2mm centreline spacing.
The low cost and RoHS compliant AMP 4.2mm Power Economy (PE) series connector system from Tyco Electronics is designed for wire to wire and wire to board applications that require 4.2 x 4.2mm centreline spacing.
The plastic connector easily mates and unmates while maintaining a positive-latch design.
Suitable for wire harness assemblies used in vending machines, appliances, gaming products, HVAC, lighting, and other industrial/commercial products; the 4.2mm PE connector system is available in 2-24 positions.
It accommodates a receptacle housing and either a panel mount or free hanging plug housing as well as PCB headers with vertical and right angle mounting styles.
The devices are intermateable with AMP-DUAC connectors and other compatible designs.
The 4.2mm PE connector system is rated for 600V AC and nine amps maximum (in a two-position configuration).
Durability is rated at 50 mating cycles.
The connector housing is constructed of UL94V2 and 94V0 flammability rated nylon with gold or tin-plated phosphor bronze or brass contacts.
