Connectors meet military and aerospace
needs

Microdot connectors can be used for numerous applications such as avionics, in-flight entertainment, military instrumentation, radar systems, control systems, missile and optical.

Designed for military, aerospace as well as commercial applications, the wide range of Microdot connectors from Tyco Electronics can be used for numerous applications such as avionics, in-flight entertainment, military instrumentation, radar systems, control systems, missile and optical The Microdot connector range includes microminiature D, rectangular, circular and coaxial connectors

The MCK and MCD microminiature D connectors are available with metal (MCK) and plastic (MCD) shells and feature a very low mating force achieved by specially designed Twist/Con pin contacts.

Electrical contact occurs at many points around the periphery of the pin bundle rather than just at a few discrete points.

Both MCK and MCD connectors meet requirements of MIL-PRF-83513 for intermateability, interchangeability and performance.

Available with soldercup and solid or stranded wire termination, the devices benefit from a 3A rating per contact.

The MCK metal shell contact also comes with an interfacial seal as per MIL-R-25988.

Customised versions of both the MCK and MCD microminiature D connectors are available upon request.

Microdot high density, lightweight multipin circular connectors are ideally suited to applications where many conductors must be accommodated in a minimum of space with minimum weight.

All circular connectors feature a crimp retention method, requiring no insertion or removal tools.

Microdot standard coaxial connectors are designed to accept 50, 70 and 93ohm miniature coaxial cables.

Coaxial connectors are available as screw-on series, slide-on series or quick-connect series. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics UK ...
