The enhanced value-add service now ensures that Tyco Electronics' components are the preferred manufacturing choice, enabling costs and delivery times to be well controlled.
Box and circuit design is done from customer concepts and schematics, allowing customers to be closely involved in the design phase.
Design packages can also include reliability, weight and maintainability data.
Prototypes are built by Tyco Electronics, including development testing throughout.
Full qualification of the agreed design is also provided, sharing the risk for qualification with the customer.
