Bench terminator provides reliable
performance

A new bench termination machine has been specifically designed to deliver superior performance and reliability.

A new bench termination machine has been specifically designed to deliver superior performance and reliability Combining high functionality with advanced levels of user-friendliness, the machine provides fast and accurate terminations, helping to maximise production efficiency

Operating with up to 38 FFC contacts onto foil within the same machine cycle, depending on product pitch (pitch range from 1.27 to 5.08mm), the new FFC terminator from Tyco Electronics delivers a high quality and precisely repeatable termination process.

Pneumatic clamps hold the foil in position - after it has been placed onto the work table by the operator - and the quantity of contacts to be applied, together with their position and spacing (if required), is conveniently programmed through a touchscreen panel.

Featuring an extremely well illuminated work area to provide superior visibility, the machine cycle is initiated via a foot switch and, in order to apply an extensive range of FFC contacts, various MQC applicators are available.

The machine also incorporates a removable safety guard for quick and simple maintenance.

Measuring just 1200 x 1200 x 600mm (including terminal reel) the FFC terminator weighs approximately 120kg and is available with or without a crimp quality monitor.

The machine requires a power supply of 230V, 50Hz and an air supply of 600kPa/6bar. Request a free brochure from Tyco Electronics - Global Application Tooling ...
