Specifically designed for magnet wire processing, the versatile Amplivar Terminator is ideal for mini-crimp connections, enabling simultaneous application of up to three magnet wires in one splice.

A new terminator from Tyco Electronics represents a significant advancement in crimp and die technology.

Specifically designed for magnet wire processing, the versatile AMPLIVAR Terminator is ideal for mini-crimp connections, enabling simultaneous application of up to three magnet wires in one splice.

Providing unsurpassed levels of operator comfort and user friendliness, the AMPLIVAR Terminator is capable of terminating copper or aluminium magnet wire - or a combination of both - and can produce either parallel or end connections.

When copper and aluminium magnet wire terminations are required, each can be combined with stranded, pre-stripped solid or stranded lead wires.

Designed so motor windings and coils can be applied directly to the splices, the terminator also provides trimming of excess wire for end splices, high stripping resistance and eliminates brushing of enamelled wire.

Providing reliable, uniform connection quality, the AMPLIVAR delivers a pressing force of 20kN with a cycle time of 0.3 seconds at a noise pressure level (without tool) of <70dB(A).

Designed to operate with wire up to 4.0mm2 at a driving power of 0.75kW, the terminator measures just 350 x 450 x 500mm, weighs 55kg and requires a power supply of 230V, 50Hz.
