Boeing to take wire and cable from Tyco
Tyco Electronics has won a long-term contract to supply all the general-purpose airframe wire (BMS1348) to Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group.
Tyco Electronics has won a long-term contract to supply all the general-purpose airframe wire (BMS1348) to Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group Supply of the wire and cable will be provided under a new 'vendor managed inventory service', designed to reduce costs in managing the asset
Tyco Electronics also supplies an extensive range of specialist wiring and interconnect products to Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group.
Commenting on the new contract, Jay McNamara, Vice President of Tyco Electronics' Wire and Cable said: "This contract is another milestone on the road to Tyco Electronics' goal to be the industry's preferred supplier in all the markets in which it operates".
