Requiring no preassembly they offer the simplest, fastest, and most reliable method of terminating coax cables, shielded wires and twisted pairs.

These single-piece SolderTact contacts eliminate the need for separate pins, help reduce crosstalk and improve shielding effectiveness and signal transmission.

They provide simultaneous electrical connection and strain relief with the heatshrinkable tubing insulation.

This insulation is transparent and inspection windows are provided to produce a fully inspectable termination.

SolderTact contacts contain prefluxed solder preforms for solder control and eliminate the variables associated with crimp terminations.

The simple one-step installation technique reduces handling, accelerates production and delivers lower installed costs.

For shielded twisted pair and triaxial cable terminations, Soldertacts are also available in two and three piece designs.

The Raychem SolderTacts product offering encompasses designs for connector types MIL-C-38999 Series I, II, III and IV, MIL-C-26482, MIL-C-83723 and MIL-C-28748 and are available in a range of sizes to suit all the popular contact configurations.

SolderTact shielded contacts can be terminated with standard Raychem heating tools and, once terminated, they can be located in and out of connector cavities with standard insertion and extraction tools.

They are replaceable without cutting and restripping or shortening the cable.
