Deal links VXI with US Government market

A new deal provides the US Government and federal contractor marketplace with special savings on a select VXI Technology VXIbus, VMIP, SMIP, VME and the new Ethernet-based LXI products.

TestMart, the leading marketplace operator and service provider for the test and measurement industry, has signed an exclusive agreement with VXI Technology, designer and manufacturer of high-density modular test instruments and switching systems for both electrical and mechanical test applications.

The deal provides the US Government and federal contractor marketplace with special savings on a select VXI Technology VXIbus, VMIP, SMIP, VME and the new Ethernet-based LXI products.

TestMart is authorised to offer all components of the VXI Technology functional test and data acquisition suite including chassis, controller and instrumentation.

The products are based on open-industry standards and are modular, portable and compact in nature.

The US Government uses card-based instrumentation to stimulate communications systems, simulate eavesdropping communications systems, detect roadside bombs and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and perform a variety of other test, measurement, and data analysis tasks.

LXI products are used to build instrumentation arrays on networks that are completely controlled by the network.

The equipment is available to all who qualify under a set of General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS).

VXI Technology products are under General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) managed by TestMart, who will provide content, transaction, marketing, sales support and reporting services around them.

TestMart also will provide presentation and order processing though the GSA's e-commerce website.
