UPS systems provide budget protection
Uninterruptible Power Supplies Limited launches an addition to its highly respected PowerWave range of UPS.
The Maxipower 5000 range now caters for all power protection requirements from 10 to 300kVA and upwards.
As standard, up to ten Maxipower units can be paralleled, using a resilient decentralised parallel architecture, to provide up to 3.0MVA output in capacity mode, or up to 2.7MVA in n+1 redundancy mode.
Even higher output power ratings can be implemented through the addition of extra Maxipower units, either to meet growing capacity requirements or to implement redundancy.
Expansion can be simply achieved without exposing the protected load to raw mains.
As a result, there is no limit to the sise of the power protection system, and so Maxipower provides a future-proof solution that transformer-based technology cannot match.
No comparable UPS system on the market can compete in terms of implementation, energy and overall lifetime costs, while Maxipower assures the highest availability of the protected load through redundant critical circuits and simple, cost-effective redundancy.
Maxipower is designed to meet the requirements of data processing, telecommunications, medical and industrial applications, where it offers double-conversion efficiency up to 97%, input current THD less than 7%, 0.98 input power factor for reduced installation and running costs, high overload capacity, and a user-friendly power management display.
Options include extended autonomy through additional battery racks.
