D/A boards expand systems beyond DAQ
The DNA-AO-308 series of analogue output boards offers eight analogue output channels with maximum update rates of 100kHz per channel (800kHz per board).
New from United Electronic Industries (UEI) the DNA-AO-308 series of analogue output boards offers eight analogue output channels with maximum update rates of 100kHz per channel (800kHz per board) However, each board in the family offers a different output configuration, with options of: +/-10V, +/-5mA; +/-10V, +/-50mA; +/-40V, +/-5mA; and 4-20mA

Instrumentation modules fit cPCI or PXI slots
UEI's PowerDAQ extensions for instrumentation modules work in CompactPCI or PXI slots; C-size chassis and CPU card implement the full PXI spec.
Other notable specifications of the series include: 1500V isolation between the cube and the field wiring, one D/A per channel (allows simultaneous D/A updates), double buffered, low glitch outputs, and three utility digital I/O channels.
"Analogue outputs are very important to our customer, both as stimulus generators in test applications as well as control outputs in industrial and process control", says UEI President Shaun Miller.
"The new D/A boards allow the PowerDNA cube to move far beyond pure DAQ applications while the four different output configurations ensure the cube supplies a simple solution in almost all applications requiring an analogue output".
Pricing starts at US $800.
