3kW in 2U rack from hot swap power system
The new TMN Series power system front ends from Unipower provide up to 3,000 watts at 24, 28 or 48VDC for distributed power systems.
Non-stop swapping - the way to zero downtime
A guaranteed, reliable power supply has become absolutely essential for non-stop computing systems and 'mission critical' applications.
PowerCassette is specifically designed for today's advanced networking, storage and communications needs.
Like the AC version, this model provides up to six outputs, including a 5V DC, 1A independent standby output.
Maximum continuous output power is 600W, and available output voltages are from 1.2 to 24V DC.
It comes in a 1U high low-profile case, measuring 44 x 127 x 280mm, realising 6.8W/in3 power density.
Internal fan cooling is incorporated.
The PowerCassette employs an advanced cellular-type architecture that permits quick factory programming of output voltages to meet virtually any requirement.
The result is fast time-to-market for customers, with a final, flexible and cost-effective power solution.
The PowerCassette concept totally replaces the older, and often costly method of employing a "modular" design initially and then replacing it with a cost-effective custom solution for production.
PowerCassette incorporates an array of features demanded by 90% of networking, storage and communications requirements in the 400 to 600W power range.
These include hot-swap capability as standard with ORing diodes on all outputs, single-wire current sharing, power factor correction, Class B EMI filter, remote sensing, adjustable outputs, no load operation and control and monitoring features.
There is also an option for I2C serial databus output for real-time monitoring of output voltages, internal temperature and fan speeds.
In addition, a 1U-compatible ready-to-wire-in N+1 hot-swap rack is also available for instant system integration of a fault-tolerant power system using minimum rack height. Request a free brochure from Unipower Europe ...
