Convertors step up to telecomms voltages
TPCMQ24 series DC/DC bus convertors convert 24V DC to either 48 or 54.4V DC for telecomms applications.
Unipower Telecom's new TPCMQ24 series DC/DC bus convertors convert 24V DC to either 48 or 54.4V DC for telecomms applications.
Output current is 20.8A at 48V or 18.4A at 54.4V, giving 1000W of total power.
These convertors operate from a wide range 20 to 30V DC (24V nominal) input with an efficiency of 89% and power density of 12.5W/in3.
The TPCMQ24 convertors are only 1U high and are rack mounted in a hot-swap, 19in shelf that can accept up to three convertors for 3000W of total power.
The output from the shelf is 62.4A at 48V or 55.2A at 54.4V.
For added power, multiple shelves can be paralleled and the system can also be used in N+1 redundant mode.
Other features of the TPCMQ24 convertors include automatic load sharing, output ORing diodes, adjustable output voltages, a 5V, 250mA standby output, integral LED status indicators, and control and monitoring features which include output power good, input power fail, thermal warning and inhibit functions.
These units are designed for a broad range of telecomms applications including wireless communications and transmission equipment where a 24V bus or battery output must be converted to 48V.
The TPCMQ24 DC/DC convertor modules and shelves must be ordered separately.
Delivery is stock to 4 weeks from order.
