Compact system guarantees DC supplies

The Gravitas X75-48S DC power system combines high-power-density hot-swap rectifier modules with a DC battery load distribution section and a monitor and control section.

The new Gravitas X75-48S fully integrated, 1U high DC power system from Unipower Telecom consists of a "base system" housing up to three 1 x 2U high-power-density, hot-swap rectifier modules combined with a DC battery load distribution section and a monitor and control section The complete system comes in a 19in rack-mounted case that is only 1U high and 368mm deep

The unit can also be mounted in a 23in rack with available brackets.

Maximum "base system" output is 30.3A at 54.4V DC for three modules; for a 2+1 redundant configuration it is 20.2A.

Additional power can be achieved by adding an "expander system" that literally doubles the power capability and adds only 1U of additional height.

The DC distribution section can be configured with up to five load circuits protected by circuit breakers or 10 load circuits protected by GMT fuses.

Additional distribution is available when the "expander system" is used, again doubling the circuits that can be protected.

There is also one battery string breaker and an optional low-voltage disconnect.

Temperature compensated battery charging is also available as an option, including a temperature probe.

Power comes from the use of Unipower's newest series of rectifiers, dubbed the Sigma Series, which features a compact 1 x 2U mechanical envelope and produces 10.1A at 54.4V DC.

The Gravitas X75 System is also available in 24 and 12V DC versions.

Systems can be configured and shipped in one week for small quantities. Request a free brochure from Unipower Europe ...
