cPCI supplies offer DC alternative
Unipower Europe has added DC-input models to its range of power supplies for CompactPCI-based systems.
Unipower Europe has made several additions to its expanding range of power supplies designed for CompactPCI-based systems.
They are DC input equivalents to the AC input models announced towards the end of last year and, like their AC counterparts, they offer power outputs between 175 and 400W.
Input voltage can be anywhere between 36 and 72V DC.
All DC input models offer the standard PCI output voltages of 3.3, 5 and +/-12V, with variable currents.
They are fully N+1 redundant, hot-swap capable and current sharing is standard on some outputs.
Like all Unipower products, they are designed to combine high performance with low cost and are generally available on short lead times.
Housed in standard rack-mountable enclosures with retaining latches, they use the usual PICMG 47-pin I/O connector as standard with an optional 38-pin connector available on some models.
Operating temperature range is 0 to 50C ambient at full load with forced-air cooling.
Available from stock and through Unipower's European distributor network, they also feature over-voltage, over-temperature and short-circuit protection as well as remote sensing and LED power good/power fault indication.
