Distribution deal expands power portfolio
Low- to medium-power AC- and DC-input supplies are complementary to Unipower's own-brand high-power-density PSUs.
Unipower Europe has signed an agreement with leading US power supply manufacturer Power Solutions.
With immediate effect, Unipower Europe becomes a master distributor for the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
According to Nigel Frey, Unipower's Sales and Marketing Director: "The new agreement brings a wide selection of power sources which are complementary to our existing product portfolio and allows us the opportunity to provide solutions at the low to medium end of the power spectrum".
"We are best known as the hot-swap high-power-density specialists, and these AC- and DC-input power supplies from Power Solutions, particularly those from 40 to 350W, are welcome additions to our range", adds Frey.
Like Unipower, Power Solutions has manufacturing sites located in the Far East and the USA, and all products are fully approved to relevant international safety standards including UL60601-1 and EN60601-1 for medical equipment.
As well as a very wide selection of standard products, Power Solutions also offers users a semicustom facility across many of its product ranges.
