Sinewave inverters fit 19in rack systems
DSP-controlled inverters provide low-distortion sinewave output using an advanced high-frequency PWM technique that achieves efficiency levels as high as 92%.
Unipower Corp has a new series of rack-mount sinewave inverters for use in telecomms systems The Scimitar Series are 1U-high 1 and 2kVA sinewave inverters designed for 19in rack systems and capable of producing a 115 or 230V AC output from a 12, 24 or 48V DC power source

The new TMN Series power system front ends from Unipower provide up to 3,000 watts at 24, 28 or 48VDC for distributed power systems.
Each sinewave inverter provides a very-low-distortion 50 or 60Hz sinewave produced by a digital signal processor (DSP) controlled power circuit using an advanced high-frequency pulsewidth modulation (PWM) technique that achieves efficiency levels as high as 92%.
An integral static switch allows the user to connect a utility or other AC power source that can then be automatically switched to the load if the sinewave inverter fails.
Output voltage and frequency can be programmed either from the front panel or via an integral RS232 interface and the unit's digital display provides the user with an instant indication of the inverter's status.
All Unipower Scimitar sinewave inverters meet the requirements of all relevant safety standards including UL60950-1, CSA22.2 No 60950-1 and EN60950-1.
Scimitar sinewave inverters are RoHS compliant.
