Unitemp has a new low cost benchtop temperature chamber that fulfils a variety of requirements The 34 litre interior size makes it ideal for use with electronic, electrical and automotive components, subassemblies and nonflammable substances

The Criterion ECT-3 from Espec is constructed inside and out from high-quality stainless steel, and has a temperature range of -65 to +180C.

The chamber uses an established air cooled cascade refrigerant system for accurate and reliable temperature control.

Installed at the right hand top of the chamber is an easy to read and use control panel.

The integrated programmer allows 256 cycling steps to be entered, including controlled ramps with guaranteed soaks.

A computer interface is included for remote operation.

A temperature deviation display with alarms is just part of a three tier overheat protection system.

This includes a thermal fuse and a user set independent temperature limit.

The chamber has exterior measurements of 94 x 54 x 64cm, and weighs 140kg.

Optional extras include viewing port with light, paperless temperature recorder, circular chart temperature recorder and a liquid nitrogen injection system for faster cool down rates.
