Rose appointment boosts UR comms focus
UR (Ultimate Renaissance) has appointed Simon Rose as business manager of its communications division.
UR (Ultimate Renaissance) has appointed Simon Rose as business manager of its communications division This new role is a strategic appointment following the company's growth with specialist semiconductors for the telecommunications market
Prior to joining UR, Simon spent four years as field applications engineer, product manager and telecomms marketing manager at Unique Memec and seven years at Marconi, where he held the position of hardware engineer.
In his new role, Rose will be involved in developing the corporate strategy for telecommunications, looking at new products and technologies and developing key account business.
By bringing a mix of technical and business skills to UR, the company can build on his previous experience in the communications market place to further expand into this market area.
