The Cortech CSS150 is a flexible 1U-form-factor 150W switcher available in quad-, triple-, dual- and single-output versions.

The Cortech CSS150 is a flexible 1U-form-factor 150W switcher available in quad-, triple-, dual- and single-output versions.

For extra versatility, the user is allowed to choose any output voltage from 3.3 to 48V from output 1 and 2, at 150W maximum from output 1 and 100W maximum from output 2.

Choices for outputs 3 and 4 allow any value from 3.3 to 24V, at 45W.

Outputs 3 and 4 can also be combined for a maximum 60W continuous delivery.

Each CSS150 family member is highly featured, including remote sense, single wire current sharing on outputs 1 and 2, OVP, over current protection and thermal shutdown.

Active power factor correction is also included and all units are packaged in 4.2 x 8 x 1.5in outline suitable for system enclosures.

Applications include internetworking, data communication and other equipment requiring output voltages from +1.8 to +48V.

Available outputs include 1.8, 3.3, 5, 12, 24 and 48V from single, dual, triple or quad output CSS150 options.

Each version weighs less than 1.2kg.

Operating from a nominal 90 to 240V AC input, CSS150 PSUs are suitable for mains powered applications in most international territories, and comply with FCC, EN and CISPR regulations for conducted emissions.

Typical full load efficiency is 75% at 230V AC operating voltage, and output regulation is +/-1% for V1 and +/-1.5% for V2.

Output ripple and noise is 1% or 50mV.

Output turn-on time is less than 2s, and transient response 1ms with 50-100% load change.

Operating ambient temperature range is 0 to 70C, following manufacturer's derating curves, and MTBF is greater than 150kh.

All CSS150 family members are CE approved, achieve 3000V AC isolation and meet EN60950, UL1950, IEC950 and LVD72/23/EEC electrical safety standards.
