Now available from Ultimate Renaissance are a range of highly efficient 60W AC/DC power supplies that provide power densities exceeding 7W/inch3 in a 50.8 x 101.6 x 20.3mm package.
Special features of Astec's ALH60 convertor include a fixed switching frequency of 400kHz, remote sense compensation and a high capacitive load limit on start up.
Input voltage range is between 36 and 75V DC, while the single output is capable of delivering voltages from 1.2 to 3.3V at 60A.
Control features include a TTL-compatible positive or negative enable function.
The new convertor offers output regulation for line, load and temperature of less than 2% and regulation to zero load.
Mean time before failure is in excess of 1Mh.
The ALH60 will operate at temperatures between -40 and +100C, and is compliant with all relevant UL, CUL and TUV safety approvals.
