Now available from Ultimate Renaissance are a range of highly efficient 60W AC/DC power supplies that provide power densities exceeding 7W/inch3 in a 50.8 x 101.6 x 20.3mm package.
Astec's AET04 convertor offers input to output isolation of up to 1500V DC and includes short circuit protection with a continuous power cycle, a transient response time of 250ms and voltage trim from 90 to 110%.
The new device has a switching frequency of 280kHz and is capable of delivering 3.3 or 5.0V DC at 4.0A.
The encapsulated AET04 device offers overall regulation of +/-2% while mean time before failure is in excess of 2.4Mh.
Supplied in a 40.6 x 50.8 x 9.66mm package, the new convertor has an operating base temperature range between -40 and +105C and is compliant with all relevant UL, CSA, TUV safety approvals.
